Hello there! My name is Sam Holland and I am a multi-disciplined illustrator, based in Plymouth, UK, with a love for illustrating people and subjects within areas of the creative industry (film, music, dance, theatre etc). My work is created digitally, focusing on the use of bold linework, vibrant colours and a distinct graphic style to produce illustrations and GIFs that are well suited for projects involving poster design, editorial illustration, album artwork etc.
My animation work aims to communicate serious social topics by using a combination of interesting transitions, simple storytelling and a silhouette-based aesthetic. I have found success and enjoyment producing animations that address difficult subjects, such as PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), Child Poverty or Terminal illness.
